In this privacy statement we state how we deal with the User’s personal information. If the User does not agree with the content of this privacy statement, then he/she cannot use the Service.

Information collected

Upon registration on www.memo24.net, we collect the User's email address and optionally his/her full name. We do not collect nor save the User's payment information when making payment. When adding reminders, the User also provides details on the voice message to be played and the recipient’s telephone number.
All your personal information and details of your reminders are transmitted to us via a secure and encrypted channel (i.e. SSL) and safely kept on our database DigitalOcean © servers.

How is your information used?

We do not share your personal information with any other third party. We do not share or disclose your reminders’ details with any third party, other than trusted third parties (e.g. Telecom operators) who assist us in operating our Service, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential.
We might occasionally send the User emails pertaining to his/her account information and price changes.

Your rights of access and erasure

In accordance with Article 17 of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the User has the right to ask us in writing for copies of his/her personal information including his/her reminders details. The User also has the right to ask us in writing to erase his/her personal information including his/her reminders details. The right of erasure is however not absolute. For more details click here.

Use of cookies

On the website www.memo24.net, we use strictly necessary cookies for the operation of the website such as account and reminders management, and completion of electronic payments.
We use a tool called “Google Analytics” to collect information about use of this site. Google Analytics collects information such as how often users visit this site, what pages they visit when they do so, and what other sites they used prior to coming to this site. We use the information we get from Google Analytics only to improve this site. Google Analytics collects only the IP address assigned to you on the date you visit this site, rather than your name or other identifying information. We do not combine the information collected through the use of Google Analytics with personally identifiable information. Although Google Analytics plants a permanent cookie on your web browser to identify you as a unique user the next time you visit this site, the cookie cannot be used by anyone but Google.
